Buchi R-200 rotary evaporator with V-800 controller

  • Cold trap condenser
  • 90 day warranty

The Buchi R-200 allows users to quickly perform single step distillations in a product friendly manner with the evaporation and condensation of solvents using the rotating evaporating flask. Distillations are typically performed under vacuum, which helps protect the product and increases performance output. While specific conditions will varying depending on application, the basic operation of the Buchi R-200 rotovap is as follows: the solvent is heated over a heating bath while the drive unit rotates the evaporating flask evenly. The solvent vapor flows quickly into the condenser and the energy in the solvent is transferred to the cooling medium. And presto bingo, the solvent condenses and collects in the receiving flask. The Buchi R-200 has a 33% smaller footprint than previous models, chemically-resistant PTFE/glass vacuum-sealing system , a space-saving modular design that allows you to add integrated vacuum controllers and run preset time/pressure gradients, and a motorized, quick-action servo-jack raises and lowers glassware effortlessly.
